Do you cover small villages and rural properties?
Yes. I regularly cover villages, farms and rural properties as well as the larger towns. Being outside a main town doesn’t necessarily mean you’re outside my service area — send me your location and I’ll confirm.
Do you cover Banff, Macduff and Banffshire?
Yes. Banff and Macduff are within my normal service area, along with places such as Portsoy, Buckie, Keith and Fochabers. I also cover many of the smaller villages and rural properties throughout this part of the coast and western coverage area.
How quickly can you reach me in an emergency?
Response time depends on where I am and your location, but I’ll always give you an estimated arrival time before setting off. For emergency lockouts and urgent lock problems, I’ll get to you as quickly as possible.
Do you charge a call-out or travel fee?
No. Scott’s Locks has no call-out fee across the normal service area. I’ll explain the price before setting off wherever possible, so you know what to expect before I arrive.

Very possibly. The towns shown on this page are the main areas I cover, not every village or community I can travel to. Call or WhatsApp with your location and I’ll quickly confirm whether I can come out to you.
